If you follow me on Instagram you might have noticed I've been wearing a lot of 'camp shirts' lately. These loose fitting pajama like shirts have been my go to now that the temperature is starting to heat up. First lets get into what a camp shirt actually is in case you don't know. It's a loose, straight cut, short sleeved shirt with a placket opening and a camp collar (a one-piece collar that can be worn open and spread or closed at the neck with a button loop. They usually have a straight hemmed bottom that falls at hip level.

The camp shirt is definitely on trend for SS17, with everyone from ASOS and Pacsun to Gucci and Prada, all doing their own versions in different colors, patterns, and price points. I live in Miami and am always trying to find ways to look stylish without having to layer too much and sweat my life away! They are so versatile and can be worn so many different ways dressed up and dressed down. 

In the first pic I  wore a stripped version open with a white t-shirt underneath and chelsea boots for a dressy casual look. The second pic I wore a floral printed one buttoned all the way up worn with distressed denim. And in the third pic I wore an embroidered version dressed up with black skinny jeans and tasseled loafers. As you can see they can be worn many different ways. You will definitely catch me in these all summer long.

Hey Guys! I'm really excited to share my partnership with French Connection! I had the pleasure of styling a few pieces from their Spring Summer collection and think the outfit is perfect for summer. I decided to pair their block striped top and navy bomber jacket with white chinos because who doesn't love white pants for spring/summer. The top is not your ordinary stripe t-shirt, there are blocks on the stripes and a fun pocket on the side. The bomber is actually a bomber on the sleeves and a knit sweater in the body, which is different and will definitely be an eye catcher.  Instead of going with all navy and white I thought adding tan accessories was a nice complement to the outfit and also made it pop.
